Butterfly House: Davao City





      In my last post, I had been in a field trip with the little kindergarten students and our second destination had been Butterfly House. It is located in Diversion Road, Davao City. It is near to the famous Crocodile Park which had been our next destination. The entrance fee here is only P30 but I am not sure if this is a discounted fee, because we are too many, or a regular fee. Since there is no regular route for public transportation that would pass into this place, you must take a taxi to go in here. It may cost you around 100-200 pesos.

     It was my first time to be in a Butterfly House and the experience was so wonderful. When I was a child I would assume that butterflies are fairies and being in a Butterfly House seemed I was taken to Fairyland. There had been a lot of different species of butterflies and they were so beautiful to look at.

         Aside from being in the flowers, butterflies would sometimes come near you and would take a rest on your hand or on your body. They are so tamed to humans that without a doubt you could have a perfect shot of it.

           Inside the Butterfly House, there is a pond and a small man-made falls. The pond was full of fishes. These are fishes that had different colors from white, orange, red to black. They are so entertaiting to look at.

        There are so many frames of butterflies inside the Butterfly House. Before you could roam around inside the house, they would give you a brief preview on how butterflies are breed and what are the different stages it passes through before it would become a beautiful butterfly.

          Before you leave the Butterfly House, don't forget to take a lot of pictures. Look for these butterfly statue and take a pose here. It would be a perfect remembrance that you had been in here.
        Well, visiting the Butterfly House is an unforgettable experience and very much worth it. If ever I would have kids, I would really take them to this house and let them have this wonderful experience only this Butterfly House could give.

    I love butterfly cause she can fly and has many beautiful colors and people say that she is sign of luck.

Bankruptcy

         It is sad to see beautiful establishments closed because of bankruptcy. There is a famous hotel here in Davao that all of a sudden shuts down. Every time I passed by on this tall building I couldn't stop myself from wondering how this thing happen. Maybe the management did not handle it well that a Bankruptcy Lawyer was already been called. The hotel was one of the highest hotels and operating well. My boss had been a former employee there and he relayed to us that although the hotel is earning well it did not be able to cope up with it expenses and was affected by the increasing dollar exchange rate. The hotel had not been able to pay its employees on time and had been  delayed in paying by six months.           In any business, filing for bankruptcy is the last resort in saving what is left. Palwan: Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center

     This is Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center or also called Palawan Crocodile and Nature Park. It is located in Palawan City that if you would be staying within the city, it is very much accessible. You would only have to ride  a tricycle, which is the number one means of transportation in Palawan City,  and you would be able to reach this place.      Yup,that's me, facing my fear and holding a baby crocodile. We have this session while waiting for our time to enter the crocodile facility and the park. Well this picture taking session is not free, this is worth twenty pesos and if you want to purchase a copy of the picture it is worth around 150-200 pesos.       This is what welcomes you inside the facility where a short orientation is to be given by the staff.
